Amanda aka 'AJ' was born on April 10, 1991 in Southern California. AJ and her sister Alyson [aka 'Aly'] always had a love for music. They?ve been playing the piano since they were 6 years old. When they were young, they would make handmade tickets and hand them out to people, inviting them to watch 'Aly and AJ Rock the House'. Those days of make believe over obviously over. Before landing any of AJ?s hit TV show roles, she had a very successful modeling career. She appeared in several National ads, which included magazines, store posters, and other merchandising for Disney, Mattel, Playmates Toys, Zutopia, and American Girl. She started her acting career at the age of 9 and booked her first national commercial on her very first audition. Ever since, she has guest starred on big television commercials such as CBS, FOX, HBO, ABC, WB and NBC. Her best known work was the role of "Shannon" on the hit CBS drama "The Guardian". However now, she is an accomplished musician, singer, and published songwriter. She?s been playing the piano for about 7 years, but composes most of her songs on her guitar, which she?s been playing for about 4 years. Aly & AJ's first single, 'Do You Believe in Magic?' has sold over 50,000 units since, and their debut album, 'Into the Rush' has sold over a whopping 800,000 units since it?s debut on August 16, 2005. Eyeshadow: Apply foundation to your eyelids to help hold onto the eyeshadow longer.
Mascara: Hold an eyelash curler on your eyes for apx. 7 sec. Look down when applying mascara to upper eyelashes to avoid spots on upper eyelids.
